All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Thistle
Thistle
Thistle is a lovely boy. He is still learning how to behave around people but once he warms up to you he is friendly and constantly purring.
Whilst he is getting braver, he does still get a little nervous sometimes so he needs someone that has experience with this, for this reason he would need an adults only household that is not loud or busy.
He is never nasty but he does hide a bit whilst he settles in and occasionally will slap but he does not scratch.
He needs an owner that is happy to give him some space whilst he familiarises himself and who has a friendly resident cat(s) to help him gain his confidence and reassure him.
Though he is affectionate towards people he definitely prefers the company of other cats so his ideal home would be with a resident cat(s) who is looking for a buddy. He gets on extremely well with other cats and as you can see in the photos, loves a snuggle!
He also loves playing independently with his toys and takes them out of his toy box himself.
He likes to scratch his cat tree, he is house trained and not destructive.
