All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Snowball
Snowball
Snowball was found in a park hiding in bushes. Many visitors were feeding them when suddenly 2 kittens appeared! We assumed Snowball was their mum. Someone else rescued the kittens but Snowball proved hard to catch and had to be trapped. So much food was being left for Snowball, they never hungry. After 2 months patience paid off, Snowball was caught! Once in the vet it was discovered he was a boy!
Throughout his stay in the park, he was bold enough to sit out on the grass where he was often chased by dogs. We were concerned in the hot summer about the risk of skin cancer on his beautiful white ears. Since in foster, Snowball has blossomed into a sweet chatty cat.
Although he is long haired, he rarely needs much grooming. Like many white cats he has an increased risk of developing skin cancer on his ears and nose in particular. Ideally we would like him to find a forever home where he is not allowed out during high summer midday sun or humans willing to treat his ears and nose with cat safe sun lotion.
He does, like many cats, have a minor heart murmur which does not effect him in any way. He loves a fuss and to snuggle in comfy beds rather than the brambles in the park!
