Polly and Slinky

£0.00

On the night of the Coronation we received a call about a mum & kitten in a shed in a front garden in Clapton. With the help of the couple who lived at the house we managed to rescue Slinky's kitten & after a lot of effort, Slinky herself. We were so relieved as Slinky had been repeatedly putting herself at risk crossing a busy road to find food and Polly, her kitten was at risk of being killed by foxes.

Slinky is an endearing little cat with a lot of character after living by her wits on the street for at least a year. She is looking for a quiet home with Polly, her kitten.

Slinky was a young stray who was crossing a busy road to raid bins from a restaurant. Local people were also feeding her. After we rescued her we discovered she had milk and realised she must have kittens so let her go. We then began to track her movements to try to find her kittens. Polly is Slinky's only surviving kitten and was rescued the night of the Coronation after she and Slinky were found in a front garden shed. This was much to our relief as we had spent the previous week trying to locate Slinky's kittens.

Polly is a healthy, playful kitten of around 11/12 weeks who has responded well to gently handling. As well as being bonded to her mum, she shows a lot of interest in her fosterer's other cats, with whom she is keen to interact.
