All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.

Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.

When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.

Maya

Maya is a very calm and loving 3-year-old indoor ragdoll. I have been living with her since she was 6 months, when her then cat-mum had to move out of the country. Before I adopted Maya, she shared a house with 2 other cats who bullied her. As a result, she can be scared of other cats and would be happiest in a home where she is the only pet and can have all your attention.

Maya is very affectionate and likes to be around you all day. When I am at home, she follows me around absolutely everywhere. Even if she is sleeping and I move rooms, she would wake up and come where I am.

She likes playing with shoe laces, but her favourite toy are hairbands. When she was little I trained her to come when you call her name and to sit and she still responds to these. She is friendly with children, but much prefers a quiet environment.

In February, Maya had to have 10 teeth removed due to an autoimmune disease. Since then, she can only eat wet food, which has to be mashed. Not doing this can result in her vomiting. It is likely that she may need to have more (potentially all) her teeth removed. She needs an owner who is able to monitor her well-being and can handle her medical needs as they arise.
