All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Friday
Friday
Friday is a stray that a neighbour started to feed, I took over this task. He has been around the area for about 3 months. The vet said he was approx. 1 year old. He is an independent young cat. He loves the outdoors. He has been living with me and has access to my flat for about 7 weeks.
He is very good indoors for a stray cat. He is however, I believe, and I discussed with the vet, is traumatised. He doesn't like sudden movements, or very loud noises and gets skittish. I believe, Friday would be better in a home without children. He needs to be the centre of someone's world.
Circumstances, have prevented me from becoming his owner. I have worked hard on trying to build his trust with people. He likes to be petted, but not crowded, I let him come to me. He needs someone who is willing to devote some time and patience to him.
In my home, he has found his own space to rest. He is a small boy, the vet said, he is a little under-weight, but it's not critical. He has put weight on since, I started to feed him. He needs 3 or 4 small meals a day. He loves cat treats. I have started to play with him, he is still unsure of the toys, but is slowly playing.
To surmise, I believe, with some patience, time and love, Friday will be a wonderful addition to someone's home. All the neighbour's in my road, love him.
