All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Ekko
Ekko
Ekko was found on the streets with her 6 kittens and has been a wonderful mum to them, but now it's time for her to find her own forever home.
Ekko is sweet and calm – she enjoys gentle strokes, ear scratches and generally being near her people. She warms up quickly to strangers, especially when there are treats involved! She has recently started playing a bit and will probably show a lot more personality when she comes out of her shell.
Understandably, she is still a bit anxious. Loud noises frighten her and she doesn't like to be picked up. She can lash out without warning when she's scared, so she'd be best suited for a quiet home without young children. She just needs a family who are gentle and patient with her, so she can learn to fully trust humans again.
She has been living with another adult cat for the past few months, and there have been no problems between them. She loves her scratching pole, and there have been no toileting accidents or destructive behaviour.
At about 2 years old, she is the perfect age if you're looking for a long-term companion, but want to skip the crazy kitten phase.
