All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Alan
Alan
Our large 8kg cat Alan is incredibly sweet, with a love for playing hunting games, playfighting, chasing toys, and enjoying long naps. He is also quite vocal, often expressing himself with various meows, especially when he becomes attached to his owner, showcasing his friendly and sociable nature.
We are seeking a new home for Alan due to his serious gut and anxiety problems, which lead to frequent defecation outside the litter box in our small flat, impacting both his and our own mental wellbeing. Additionally, his territorial aggression towards our other cat, who is older and much smaller, has led to fights, raising concerns for their safety. As a result of these issues we have realised, with a heavy heart, that we are no longer capable of caring for Alan in our small flat.
Alan requires a patient and experienced owner with access to a garden or outdoor space, capable of addressing his anxiety and gut issues, and managing territorial behaviour. Despite our attachment to him, we recognise that a more suitable environment is necessary for his wellbeing.
